GPS & Telematics Installation for Construction Equipment
Heavy equipment, attachments, trailers, and yard assets. We install trackers that survive the job site and report the hours, location, and use you need.
Why equipment tracking is harder than it looks
Mixed fleets
Different brands and model years report differently. Factory telematics doesn’t always share the same data or update as often, and older machines may have none.
Theft and unauthorized use
Equipment sits on open job sites overnight and on weekends. You need to know when a machine moves or starts when it shouldn’t.
Hours drive maintenance and billing
Engine hours are what PM schedules, rental billing, and job costing are built on. Bad hour data costs money.
Vibration, dust, and pressure washers
A tracker installed like it’s going in a pickup won’t last. Mounting, sealing, and cable routing have to hold up to the work.
Assets without power
Attachments, light towers, generators, and trailers often have no power source, or only power some of the time. They need battery or solar-powered trackers.
Machines are spread out
Equipment is at a dozen job sites, not one yard. Installs need to happen where the machines are, without stopping work.
Installs built for the job site
We install on your yard or on the job site, on the platform you use, and we leave a record of what’s on every machine.
- Equipment and asset tracker installs: powered, battery, and solar
- GPS gateways on service trucks, pickups, and lowboy tractors
- Hour meter and ignition wiring checked so engine hours report correctly
- 360° and backup camera systems for blind spots on large equipment
- Consulting on mixed-fleet setups: when to use factory data and when to add a tracker
- QC audits to find machines that stopped reporting

Construction equipment questions
Our newer machines have factory telematics. Do we still need trackers?
Sometimes not. Factory data may be enough for newer machines, while older machines, attachments, and other brands may need a tracker. Our consultants can help you decide machine by machine.
Can you install on the job site?
Yes. We come to where the equipment is and work around your crews.
Can you track equipment that has no battery?
Yes. Battery-powered and solar-powered trackers work on attachments, trailers, and other assets without power.
Do you sell trackers?
Usually not. We install the hardware your provider supplies. Some platform resellers pay us a referral fee when a customer we introduce signs up, and we’re working toward reselling Quartix. If we have a relationship with a platform we recommend, we tell you up front.
